2. Kurt Hummel aka Chris Colfer
These are mostly cast pics, because Kurt's incredible designer wardrobe deserves its own post, but the character was created for the actor and they are both hilarious and awesome. Chris' Twitter is a place of joy, he posts things like:
"Last night was the first midnight showing of Harry Potter I've ever missed. I'm still secretly waiting for my Hogwarts acceptance letter." "Whenever I'm stuck in traffic I pretend I'm on a motorcycle. I make the noises and everything. Just thought you should know..."

Kurt is fantastic. He may be a stereotype, but he is so much more than that and you can't help loving him. He sings, he dances, he plays football. I heart him so much. Some of the things he says:

Hi, I'm Kurt Hummel and I'll be auditioning for the role of kicker.

3. Noah "Puck" Puckerman aka Mark Salling.
Mark wears dorky glasses and plaid shirts, he also tweets Puck/Kurt videos and is about a million times nicer that Puck.
My first impression of Puck was that he is a hot asshole. I still have think so, but he really does develop a fair amount from the pilot.
I didn't expect him to become one of my favourite characters, but he is and I heart him.

Honourable mention: That Rachel chick makes me want to light myself on fire, but she can sing.
I apparently ship him with pretty much everyone. Am still looking for some Puck/Finn.

Rachel has the best voice in Glee and she knows it. She is a bit intense, very insecure, smart, extremely driven and genuinely nice. She has two dads, a weakness for football players and a penchant for pleated skirts and knee high socks. She puts a gold start after signing her name, because:

Quinn is the head cheerleader and president of the celibacy club. She doesn't like Rachel or the fact that Rachel likes Finn, Quinn's sweet, but dim boyfriend. She is not a very nice person, though she goes through a lot and grows a fair amount. I don't want to spoil, so no quotes for Quinn, but she too has some great lines.
I like Rachel/Quinn not only because they look good together, or because Lea Michelle and Dianna Agron live together and hug a lot, but because I think their characters can balance out really well. They are both strong and smart and confident. Plus, Quinn admits to drawing rude pictures on Rachel in the school bathroom.
