Fandom meme!
I am really scared about tomorrow's exam, I don't know if i know enough and i am almost too scared to revise, which is really stupid! :(
So a meme gacked from starcrossedgirl I always enjoy finding out about people's fandom histories so let me share a little of mine...

House MD
1. I started watching it as soon as it aired and loved it, but I wouldn’t say I am in the fandom, I think it was probably the fault of people on my flist writing fic, though I can’t remember the precise moment.
2. Well, I haven’t read fic in ages, so I guess I have moved on, but I always get random fic cravings and I wouldn’t say no to a good House/Wilson fic!
3. No idea
4. No, I never have, silently reading fic is the furthest it went.
5. Sure!
Harry Potter
1. I read the books when they were up to POA. But I found fandom in 2002, almost seven years ago! Just before the CoS film came out, I was looking for people's thoughts on it, and stumbled upon a fic recommendation site, I read through it until I got to Rhysenn's Irresistable Poison, in the summary it said a Harry/Draco SLASH romance, at the time I had never heard of slash, so had no idea what it meant, but I started reading it on the slight possibility that it might be a relationship between Draco and Harry. And it was! Such a good first fic to stumble upon, I still love it so much. From then on I was totally hooked. I found schnoogle, for more than a year I only lurked and read so much and then made my LJ at the end of 2003, which severely reduced my reading habits.
2. Though it’s been a while since I have participated in the HP fandom, the majority of my flist is from my HP days and when you guys post things I still might read them, but apart from some days when I get severe nostalgia about the good old days of fandom (and Harry/Draco, god I still love them so much) I don’t see myself properly returning to HP, but we’ll see what happens with the film. I mean in spirit I still feel in HP, it’s too much a part of who I am for me to ever truly leave it behind, through HP I made friends and experienced things I wouldn’t have otherwise, and sometimes I would still read epic H/D and nothing else can make me happier, I remember how annoyed I was when everyone started leaving, but I guess things change.
3. GOF used to be my favourite, but apart from the epilogue I also love DH, even though I have read it only once at Sectus all the way through the night and day.
4. Once upon a time I did write fic, but we do not talk about that.
5. Yes! I mean I don’t want the fandom to ever, ever die, I am hoping that more and more people will find it and love it, because there really is nothing like the HP fandom. Nothing.
RPF
1. I was trying to think about this, and I know it was Lotrps, maybe 2003, very possibly iscaris 's fault yet again, she posted some Viggo/Elijah and I thought awesome, and never had a problem with the subject material. She also wrote X-men RPS which I approved of. Through the years I’d read a fair bit or RPS, hackthis ’s love for George Clooney and friends really assisted my craving for actor slash, and there was Star Wars RPS. More recently there has been Heroes RPS with Milo/Adrian and a little bit of Gossip Girl RPS, and of course Colin/Bradley and right now you guys may have noticed, Pinto, Zack/Chris have taken over my brain in a ridiculous way, like I think about them all the time and feel happy! It is sad and crazy but awesome.
2. well it isn’t one fandom, and so I am sure that even if my pinto love diminished (not likely!), there will be other rps ships in my future.
3. haha, well it is real life, but obviously the bazillion pinto interviews, but especially this one, omg I love this one too much.
4. I wrote a fic yesterday and could say I participate in discussion I guess, but that would mean we take a rather loose definition of discussion, one that includes a lot of exclamation points. I have written a number of other fics too and have compiled a number of picspams, so after exams there will be a lot more participation.
5. Yes, omg, I want the whole world to write me pinto fic!
