Am on my old lap top at home, and I had forgotten how loud the fan is and how it heats up so much that I never need the heating to be on. Went home to see Fame with parents and it was enjoyable, though I rather prefer the film version, because the musical did not keep any of the plotlines which made me love the film. Still, it was such a fun performance, despite the fact that it was the matinee and there were millions of kids everywhere eating popcorn. People should not eat popcorn at the theatre, I don't like it. It's not like you are in the cinema. Oh and Fame is not really that kid friendly what with the drug overdose, how strange that there are no ratings. Like there were under 10s sitting next to us when we went to see the Rocky Horror show. That was made worse by the fact that we were practically naked, we were so down with the whole corset/suspenders thing, too bad 99% of everyone else was not. Our worst nightmare, but incredibly fun nonetheless.
My brother has taken over my room and it is a bit odd, apart from the remarkable neatness there are now 4 guitars here.
I am now officially half way through my degree, that thought in itself is terrifying, however I haven't thought about it much. Had our halway hall last night and it could have turned sentimenal, but it didn't. The food was perfectly awful, but then that is something we are all used to by now and there was so much wine and everyone was there, all pretty and dressed up and it was just nice. Really nice. Talking to people I hadn't seen in a while, drinking lots and lots, and then running to filth in order to get in for free and dancing in the middle of the completely empty dancefloor. Such fun. Wore my red silk dress with red sparkly shoes of love and looked rather shiny if I say so myself (seriously. A dress has never shined so much) Though my feet hurt so much, I do not like heels, (had to change red sparkly shoes with boots which too have a heel - unwise move, boots/dress combo very badass, well stupid, but nvm)
I remember starting this post with some sort of an aim in mind, but that has gone and so I shall go to bed. Expect snowy pic spam tomorrow, for Oxford became a winter wonderland for a day before it was all washed away until the less-than-fresh flowers in the quad were the only remainder of the snowness.
