Currently I am living with my significant other in an one room, first floor apartment that is pretty much in walking distance of any stores that are beneficiary. So what is wrong? I am currently living with him but none of my furnishings, belongings, clothing or nick knacks are even here. They are still at my moms house along with my cats (whom he apparently hates with an passion because they are having bladder issues and they are currently unfixed) and he seems to not understand as to why I would like to have my things and pets in MY shared space with him. I understand that bringing my furniture and my things here will make our apartment rather cramped, but it would be nice to have more storage options and access to my things. Plus not sleeping on the floor on an mattress would be rather nice, especially knowing that we have an bed frame made for ikea mattresses.
Is it really hard to ask for my own things, furniture and doodads to make the apartment feel like home?
