Christmas in the Sticks
Well, I'm in Crane, Missouri, the same place I spent my summer. I already got a Christmas present: my brother-in-law gave me a cool jacket with the logo of the metal bending factory (Mid-Am Metal Forming). It should keep me warm in Japan, where they apparently are not big fans of indoor heating (they have high speed trains but just can't quite conquer the colossal task of installing a radiator). Also, my nephew and niece are getting a pony for Christmas, quite literally. Well, I never thought that ever really happened, but I suppose somebody must get a pony as a gift once in a while.
