i went to the jollibee center earlier for the final negotiation regarding my salary. the offer was good (a lot better than the one from moldex, which also requires me to cut my hair) so i accepted it. i'll be starting on the 5th of november.
here comes teh moneh~
i picked tonio, my former band mate, up on the way home since i asked him to accompany me to sound and music people to get my new guitar. tope, my other former band mate was waiting for us at my place.
on the way to the music shop we realized that tope stepped on a pile of animal shit on the way to my car.
shit. x.x
we took turns playing the out-of-tune guitar at the shop. floyd-ed guitars are a real pain. or is it just because this is my first time to use one? anyway, i've been trying to get it to stay in tune for the past hour and i'm having no luck. i'm using the tremolo bar to stretch the strings. or is that why the strings refuse to stay in tune? i need some serious help with this. x.x
anyway, after about an hour of playing an out-of-tune guitar, we decided to pay for it. we then headed to my car but it was still really smelly and i realized that i haven't had my lunch yet and it was almost 5 pm. so we decided to just roll down the windows of the car and leave it in front of the shop where the guard can watch it while we eat.
on the way home, tope asked me to drive them to church so he can pick up his guitar for their practice:
tope: okay lang yan. sinamahan naman natin siya (me). abusuhin!
tonio: tinaehan mo na nga yung kotse niya eh. sobra-sobra na yun!
