new job offer, new speed, new icons
moldex called me earlier to invite me to their office tomorrow so we can discuss their offer. apparently, i passed the final written php programming test that they gave me last friday. my first priority is still jollibee since it will not require me to do any programming and it is likely to pay higher. however, moldex is just 5 minutes away from my place. 10 minutes of total travel time every single day sounds really tempting. but 8 hours of programming everyday = fail.
i guess i'll just have to hear both offers first.

i finally managed to increase my guitar playing speed. i searched the web for effective speed/control training programs 3 months ago and i came across www.shredacademy.com, which offers a wide selection of lessons in music theory and technique. i saw tom hess' article about systematic speed development and decided to give it a try.
after 3 months of serious practice, i was able to bring my speed up from 270 to 310. i know it still sucks but now i know that i can do it. it's really motivating since i have never experienced this much improvement in such a short period of time.
