So, if there's anything I've learned from this fandom, it's that all sorts of readers can enjoy it.
I come from an epic fantasy/scifi background in reading, but I've also picked up the occasional romance novel. I really enjoyed the siege of Lucca in Scion, but disliked his exploration of his sexuality with Claudia Fulvia.
Am I wrong in my assumption that a lot of people that didn't like the siege (and it seems that the majority of people in this comm didn't) started reading the books for the romantic relationships and kinky sex? ;)
Okay, I'm not sure where I'm going with this any more, so I'm just going to ask if you liked/disliked the scene and why. It just seemed quite normal for me, regular epic fantasy fare.
I'm going to extrapolate and guess that the people that didn't like that scene also disliked the The Sundering.
