(no subject)
It's 1AM Monday morning and I don't have anything to do, I'm bored with WoW, and Ninja Gaiden > me. So I thought I'd come write a journal. It seems myspace won the war between which online social website is more trendy. gg myspace.
In May, it'll be a year since I've graduated. I'll be 19 in July. Me and Jackie were a year this past (March) 1st. I've gone from my stepping stone pizza job, to the successful job I hated to go to, to the successful job I love. What a short amount of time this past year and a half has been, and what great amounts of change. I've definetly grown up...a lot. I look back on my past and enough time has passed that I could clearly see and analyze what was. I know more about then now than I knew at the time, ha. I acted so young, so immature, so...I guess my age for the time. The worst part is knowing the truths now that I hoped were just fears then, but then again, it is also liberating. Karma dealt its hand, and I gladly accept what has become.
Since I've established a brotherhood with some of my friends, and it's great knowing I really have someone like that. I've always had a lot of friends, friends I've cared a lot about, and who cared for me, but now I have something that feels like stone.
My job is going great. It's more and more looking to become my career. Six figures without a college degree? ftw. Speaking of which, I recently withdrew all classes from U-dub. I was missing class so much, my grades were suffering horribly, so I felt it would be the best move acamedically. I'll be restarting at PJC in the Fall. Cheaper classes, that are easier. Not the uwf was hard. It was extremely easy. But the teachers there are more focused on how to teach you to do their job instead of learning a craft. Iunno. I'll just do my general studies at PJC and then the last 2 years at udub.
The future isn't as clear as I'd like it to be. Actually, nothing is for certain. Which I guess is good -- no expectations, no disapointments.
And Tak, I just realized I hadn't mailed your DVD's. I'm UPSing them Friday, once I'm paid, so I can overnight them. Sorry <3. And Gomen Nasai.
