Hey I like never post here anymore.
So if you don't know me on the facebook, I got married last fall and I'm in a band or two as usual. Or as I like to say, http://www.amexchangemusic.com.
We've been pretty lax in practicing lately, mostly because we left our practice space behind as the drummer couldn't afford it, which meant the lead guitar player couldn't afford it which meant I couldn't afford it either. But we've been working mostly on guitar/vocal tracks and that's easily done in a basement.
I answered a craigslist ad to join this band: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Radiophlyer/395664965280 which is basically an Old Man classic rock band, but they have a manager and play casino shows, which are something like $1,200 - $1,500 PER NIGHT for two nights with room/board. Divide it 5 ways and it's still a good haul, and I wanna redo my bathroom and build out the mannest cave in NE Portland.
