We went to our first Pub Quiz night last night as some e-mail alert notified us that it was to be an Arrested Development theme. Our team (The Hop-Ons) did better than anyone else when it came down to the actual answering of trivia questions, but we were set back by a totally stupid and bullshit "physical challenge" which involved moving jelly beans via a grabber device from one bowl to another. I ask you: what has this to do with knowledge about Arrested Development? If you need a gimmick, at least make sure it's you know, within the realm of what you're actually trying to sell.
Oh well, nothing spent (save for $8 for the bar tab), nothing earned.
Expensive Lebowskifest tickets are purchased (bowling AND the movie). Now I'm in the middle of mopping the heck out of the basement.
