i am SO over relaxing...
so, i mighta mentioned in my past journal entry that i'm bored. DEATHLY bored. SOOOO ready to have a job already, and damn this house is way too friggin' hot.
my 3rd animation piece is looking good if i do say so myself. i just wish i could be more prolific in creating these animations. making animations to get a job isn't very exciting. i'm through working on my own shit, i want to work with a kick ass looking character instead of this Biped-like character that i got from school. did i mention that i want my own money?
i finally get the car back tomorrow and i've errands to run for the folks. going up to Magnoila Hi-Fi (one of my favourite stores) to get some banana clips fixed and pick up a shelf for our center channel. also, for some reason, our copy of Scarface decided to crap out on us after only one viewing. appearantly the folks tried to watch it and they kept getting a disc error. when it FINALLY worked, it kept jumping chapters and scrambling and doing all sorts of happy crappy. so gonna get that swapped for one that works. ah technology. oh yeah, so i was slackin' around upstairs and my dad came up and threw the Two Towers EE on the bed next to me. that caught me offguard but i deserved it! i made dinner, bbq chicken, yum.
stray though. i'm watching the video for "I Miss You", with animated content provided by John Kricfalusi, creator of Ren and Stimpy. i'm sure a lot of you out there have seen the new adult Ren and Stimpy on Spike TV late nights and yes i agree, it sucks sasquatch ass. the show is just, bizarre and dark and very twisted. the old Ren and Stimpy had some dappled shades to it but nothing like this. this just feels like John K. jerking off on the network and seeing what he can get away with.
