Everyone looked up as the VC president burst in smearing tears off his cheeks. He snapped, “Nakai has Kei…and he’s torturing him…I believe he’s in the process of brainwashing him. Nakai wants him to believe I am a monster…he wants Kei to kill me…”
Ohkura froze…he stammered, “How do you know…we haven’t even figured out exactly where Nakai is…”
Juri rolled her eyes; he would if he’d listened…
Shige collapsed in a chair, his head in his hands, “I saw them…through Kei’s eyes…He didn’t sense me…why didn’t he know I was there…”
Ueda and Tegoshi knelt beside him.
Tegoshi looked at Ueda, Ueda shrugged….he sighed and took Shige’s hand, “Kato-sama…perhaps…your connection with him is stronger then his with yours because you haven’t bonded yet…”
Shige whispered, “We couldn’t until he finished his term…Japan isn’t ready for a Vampire as Prime Minister yet…”
Tegoshi bit his lip, “I understand…that must have been really hard for you because of how much you loved him…”
Shige nodded, “He’s alone and he’s scared…he actually told Nakai to kill him…”
Juri collapsed…she glanced at Ohkura whispered, “Iie…”
Ohkura knelt beside her, “Nani…”
Juri whispered, “That means he’s given up…give him 24 hours and he’s programmable…he’ll do anything Nakai tells him to do…”
Ohkura cursed, “Ueda, Tegoshi get Kato out of here…Daiki, Jae…get your team leaders now…Juri, we have a hideout to find. Now where was that file from SI? Junno…where is the kidnapping file…””
Ueda and Tegoshi led the shaken President out of the room.
Jae and Daiki tore past them to the training room…
Daiki gasped, the interior of the room was different…all he could see was flashes of lasers.
A computer voice announced, “Nikaido Takeshi, you are dead. Please exit…”
Nikaido cursed, “Bummie…you’re dead…I’ll get you next time…”
DongHae chuckled, “Demo…Nika…I killed you…”
Bummie smacked him, “Shut up…you’ll get us killed…”
Daiki saw a furious Nika appear out of nowhere…he swore, “Chikuso…whats going on here…”
Jae smiled, “Time out…attention…”
Totsu called out, “Computer, end program…”
The solid gray walls Daiki remembered returned and the lights went back to normal.
LeeTeuk approached them turning off his suit, “Jae…Totsu and I took the holographic matrix program I’d been working on…we tied it into the room’s computer and created a simulation. We used the laser guns and digital counter we added to ChangMin’s suits to play war games….”
Jae grinned, “You sneaky, ingenious brats…I leave you alone and you completely retrain three squads of special ops…”
LeeTeuk blushed, “I guess you could call it that…”
Daiki stammered, “I own a holographic training room…”
Totsu appeared beside LeeTeuk, “Hai, and enough holo-suits for everyone…including you and Yamashita…”
Daiki grinned like a kid at Christmas, “I get one…”
Toushin popped in holding Totsu’s hand, “We left five extra holo-suits in your office for you, Yamashita-san, Ohkura, Jae-san and Kusano-san if he comes…”
Jae squeezed LeeTeuk’s shoulder, “We’ll go change… and divide up into three extraction teams. Fighters only…suite 20 beside the conference room has been set up by Senga as a visual command post. We need to be ready to move when Ohkura says to move out…”
LeeTeuk, Totsu and the newly appeared Kitayama nodded.
Kitayama crossed his arms, “We’re as ready as we’ll ever be. Omega is evil…we’ve been talking, anyone who kidnaps a pregnant mother deserves to die…”
Daiki bit his lip, “Punishing the innocent is never a good idea…keep in mind that most of Omega has been brainwashed like that Morimoto kid. Omega maybe evil but the people aren’t. Try to spill as little blood as possible…we aren’t the enemy, we aren’t evil either…we just want to put families back together and save the Prime Minister…”
The room appeared to be full as all over the remaining suits were turned off…
KyuKyu and SungMin nodded, KyuKyu walked towards the door, “We stopped by for training just in case but we’ll going to make sure each team’s med kits are ready. Toma was still studying when we left. I’ll go back to quizzing him…”
Daiki blinked, “Senga…what are you doing here…”
Senga shook his hair as he took off the helmet, “It looked like fun and besides, even in surveillance one can’t be too prepared. They had enough suits and the rest of my team came even my assistant Hamanaka Bunichi from upstairs came…”
Daiki blinked, “We had more humans down here…”
Senga rolled his eyes, “One, Bun-chan is mine…two, everyone here has a mate present…three, we all needed to be ready. It’s not our fault we’re human…if we had time…we would have turned. Right now time is more important…and what’s wrong with more humans? You have Toma-sensei and HaseJun…what’s wrong with another two…we’ll be on his team anyway…” An exhausted Oguri Shun entered the room silencing his protest, Senga whispered in awe, “Shun-sempai…”
Daiki spun around, “Shun…should you be out of bed…”
Shun crossed his arms, “I’m fine…I heard Koyama-sama was kidnapped. I trust Senga…but I want in too, I have a score to settle with Omega myself. They poisoned the man I loved…I need this…”
Daiki stared at HaseJun who appeared behind him, “I’ll talk it over with Ohkura, Kato-sama and Inoo. For now go with Senga and Jae’s team…HaseJun, don’t you have studying to do in case you need help Toma-sensei treat one of us…”
HaseJun pouted and stormed off in the direction of Ueda’s infirmary muttering his disagreement under his breath.
Senga grabbed Bun-chan hand and walked over his boss, he called over his shoulder, “LeeTeuk, HeeChul, Hyukie, ShinDong, this Oguri Shun, Inoo-san’s head of surveillance.”
LeeTeuk reached to shake his hand, “Nice to meet you…LeeTeuk desu…”
Shun grinned, “It’s nice to be out of that infernal infirmary and see anyone. Nice to meet you all…Sen-chan…why don’t you show me what you’ve been up too…”
Jae asked Daiki silently, “What does he mean…”
Daiki replied, “I’ll tell you when we go next door…” He addressed the rest of them, “I want you to take a break…go forget about the mission for a while. We all need a break…”
