Ohkura answered his phone quickly, “You found her? Sugoi…is she coming? ETA is 20? Perfect…we’ll be waiting.” He grinned, “Notti found her…she’s alive.”
Jimmy turned pale, “Heaven help us all…”
Inoo blinked, “Nan desu ka.”
Jimmy shivered, “You think Omega is mad about Yamashita and Nishikido? Kazama will be uncontrollable if he finds out she is not only alive but she’s working for you.”
Ohkura shook his head, “I have no intention of letting them find out. That knowledge is not to leave this room; it is classified. If she chooses to stay here after this, I doubt she will have many options I suggest that Inoo-sama and Arioka-san persuade her to stay. If Omega is going to be a problem then I want her protected. Anyone under her protection must also be protected. She could be our best hope in protecting both human and vamp alike from Omega.”
Inoo grinned, “I get a former assassin as a member of my staff…if she’s on our side wouldn’t that totally piss off Yoko? I never liked him anyway…I wish Kato could fire him.”
Ohkura frowned, “He’d have to either retire or die. Neither of which is happening anytime soon.”
Inoo sighed, “Why can’t Omega do something smart and get rid of Yoko for us…”

Notti led Masami, Juri and the girls off the train. He sent a reassuring thought to them, the guards with them were gay…he said quickly, “Nikaido, Sanada, Nakayama, please escort these ladies to some empty suites. I’m not sure which are open but you can figure it out.”
Masami watched as her girls were led away.
Notti said softly, “Let’s go…they’re waiting for us…”
Yamapi and Notti led them to the conference room.
Ohkura grinned as they entered; he loved it when he was right.
Jimmy shivered and bowed, “Ueno-san…”
Juri blinked, she didn’t recognize him…
Ohkura grinned, “I have Ueno and Kazama’s personal assistant. So between the three of us there should be no reason why we can’t plan a flawless rescue mission. Ueno-san, we’re dealing with Akanishi, Katori and Nakai. What can you tell me about them…”
Juri snapped to attention as Ohkura addressed her. She recognized him…he was Omega’s greatest opponent…every operative of the Omega was told to watch out for him. She cleared her throat, “Nakai…is highly dangerous and not to be underestimated. He trained us…Akanishi and I. Akanishi was good but not as effective as I was…I went after the big ones. If you want the truth…Akanishi is a screw up. He’s good at one on one but worthless at anything else. He was responsible for the Moonlight club disaster; if the raid had never happened and I hadn’t defected he would have been eliminated.
I could have handle the club myself and quietly. There was no need for the bomb and I told the Omega that. They wanted a statement to the VC…I knew that there would be civilians there. I was angry when I heard the death toll. The bomb was too powerful…if we needed the bomb it only needed to destroy the interior of the club. Everyone here should remember it destroyed the surrounding buildings as well.”
Toma nodded, the bomb had killed Shun’s family and many others…
Inoo frowned, “You could have saved lives…”
Juri grimaced, “I could have brought the death toll down to the club’s inhabitants. A mere two hundred max. The toltal was over three…nearly four…I would have killed Akanishi but I was prevented by the raid. I hoped it would have killed him but when we regrouped at the safe house, the few remaining were myself, Kazama, Akanishi, Nakai and Katori. It was the worst choice for survivors; Kazama should never have been in control of the Omega…” She turned to Ryo, “Regardless of how you feel about the cause, you should have been in charge.”
Ryo frowned, “Why me…”
Juri sighed, “Because your grandfather took control of Omega, he was our strongest leader. The Yamashitas lost control because they had gotten weak; to prove their loyalty they had to allow us to manipulate their DNA to make their children immuned. Nishikido, you are not only rare, you are the first of your kind. You were the first to survive the procedure…you didn’t get sick. Many of our first attempts came down with a devastating and untreatable stain of Sickle Cell Anemia. They were dead in days…the Omega was desperate to prevent turnings among our own. We would send assassins to take out vamps and 7 out of 10 never returned. We found their bodies later but they were vamps…the rules were simple. Eliminate target. If you were bitten, preserve humanity…protect the Omega, die with Omega on your lips. I couldn’t…I went into hiding because of that. If I didn’t destroy myself and the Omega ever found me, I would receive their worst punishment. A slow and painful death…starvation…”
Masami started, she was responsible for Juri turning…she might be responsible for her death…
Ohkura nodded, “I expected as much…I knew you weren’t dead…I was afraid you might have turned. You were sent after vamps often enough that it could have happened. I need your help…I knew what you know to rescue the Prime Minister…if anyone found out he was kidnapped all of Japan would be destabilized.”
Juri nodded, Kazama never did think through his plans…she turned to Jimmy, “You know me but I don’t know you. Ohkura said you were Kazama’s assistant…how did you get that far…”
Jimmy bowed, this woman was legendary, “Ueno-san, I was sent from America after the raid. Kazama announced he was the next leader, we didn’t trust him. I agree, he should never have been leader of Omega. He was told if he accepted me as his assistant they we would support him. We helped him reorganize, acquire new supporters…the works…I arrive around the time you disappeared. Kazama himself announced you were dead. You would never betray the cause…you were one of us even in death. We had a ceremony…it was one of my first duties. You were greatly mourned; Nakai spoke and said you were his best student. Jin was glad you were gone; he took on assignments that should have been yours. He was feared but not in the same way…”
Juri snorted, “I expected as much…whose idea was the kidnapping…”
Jimmy stared at the floor, “Mine…Kazama wanted them dead. I convinced Jin that kidnapping their siblings would be more effective. I never expected that Nakai would kidnap the prime minister.”
Juri let out a half hearted laugh. “He's done this before... one would think he'd try again. After kidnapping Nishikido's sister, we would have speculated that he would be so worried that he wouldn't be paying any attention. It would have been effortless... his assassination would have been too easy.”
