Hasshi kissed him, “That’s exactly what I want, you and me together forever. Do vampires really live forever…”
“We’re something like Tolkien’s elves; we live long lives that can mean forever unless something changes our fate. Such as illness, a broken heart, or murder…vampires tend to be unlucky throughout history; we are regarded as evil bloodthirsty damned creatures without souls.”
Hasshi hugged Nikaido fiercely, “You’re anything but that, you’re gently, loving and caring…that’s why I love you.”
Nikaido grinned, “Not just because I taste good.”
Hasshi felt tears fill his eyes, “You mean more to me then that.”
