Chii was running home, it would be their first official night in their own apartment and all he wanted was to hold Ryo. He was coming back from filming his cop drama.
Makin' my way downtown,
Walkin' fast,
Faces pass and I'm homebound.
Ryo was blindly making his way home; he was exhausted. He still didn’t know why he agreed to a third season of Tantei Gakuen q.
Starin' blankly ahead,
Just makin' my way,
Makin' a way through the crowd.
He wanted Chii…he needed him, without him, he was a shadow of himself and he knew it. How much so he didn’t know….

And now I wonder...
Chii saw their building in the distance, he hurried feeling Ryo’s presence drawing closer. It still amazed him that Ryo had trusted him enough to let him love him, he would do anything for his lover….

Chii was almost there, he was so close. He never felt more alive then when Ryo smiled at him. Without his other half, the world made no sense…he need his angel’s smile.

Ryo stood outside their door, he knew Chii wasn’t home yet…he didn’t know how he knew but he knew. He missed him so much it hurt and he wondered…

Chii ran faster, weaving in and out of the crowd, he felt how much Ryo need him. He thought, “I’m coming baby, wait for me…” as he ran inside their building.

Chii entered the apartment and looked around, something was wrong. It was empty but it didn’t feel empty.
Ryo saw him and said softly, “Chii…please…see me…I’m right here…”
Chii turned towards the break in the silence, “Ryo…where are you…” a cold rush of fear squeezed his heart. He almost couldn’t breathe.
Ryo cried bitterly, “It’s true then…”

Chii saw a faint shimmer, he moved closer and sense his lover’s presence. The closer he got the stronger it was, by the time he sat next to him he could see him.
Ryo whispered, “Chii… I’m right here…”
Chii wrapped him in his arms, he almost felt alive…though he knew he wasn’t. He said softly, “Baby, I’m right here…I won’t leave you…”

Ryo felt him hold him; it was exactly what he needed…
Ryo wouldn’t leave Chii…he couldn’t they still needed each other and until it was Chii’s turn he couldn’t leave. Chii’s need for him was keeping him here.
Chii held on to him, he couldn’t believe he hadn’t known until he entered their home…he felt so angry. Why Ryo…why now…he’d been trying to get home to him all day.
