I have a bit of an odd story to share. The other day I saw an add on-line for a free horse. That is all it said with no pictures. I kind of chuckled at it thinking how on earth do you plan to give away a horse with no information to go by? I X'ed the add and carried on. After awhile my mind drifted toward my first horse, Ginger, and how much I missed her. I gave her away to a friend of mine over 6 years ago. My gut started bugging me that the add I made fun of was Ginger.
So, I sent an inquiry about the horse. It took several emails because of the vague jumbled information I received, but my heart leaped into my mouth when I finally got what I was looking for. It WAS Ginger!!!!! How strange is that? So I told the lady who I was and that I'd love to have my old horse back again, and everything was seemingly going smoothly until I asked when would be a good time to pick up the horse. The Lady replied with a very strange email saying I had been added to a waiting list of about 20 people who were interested in the horse, and she would make an appointment with me so I could come and see Ginger. She never once mentioned 'all these people' before, and kept asking if I wanted the horse- to which each and everytime I replied with 'yes! I'd love to have Ginger back!'
Now, when I gave Ginger to them we had a verbal agreement that if they ever decided they no longer wanted the horse they had to give her back to me. I sent an email back to the lady reminding her of this agreement, and she has happily ignored my emails ever since. I'm hoping/praying this ends well. I'd love for nothing more than to get my first horse back, for she hold such a special place in my heart.
Keep your fingers crossed for me that these people honor our agreement from 6 years ago!!
