Ginger has been home now for two weeks and already she's put on a lot of much needed weight. I didn't weigh her the first week she was home, but I've been monitoring her since. Ginger only needs 70 lbs to be back to normal at this point, which is a HUGE sigh of relieve. Still don't really know what to do with her, I'm still asking around for ( Read more... )

Well that's quite a change! She'll be back to her old self in no time! I hope you can find a leaser for her. Is she fit to ride (at her normal weight) or can she only be used as a pasture companion?

It's wonderful that she's recovering so well! I haven't even put a feeler out for a leaser yet, I want to make sure she is 100% again before I start asking around again. It would make it a bit easier if she could be ridden, but being a 31 yr old TB makes that pretty impossible :( (bad joints from racing and all that)
