Why am I always the one to be blamed. Why is it that no matter what happens I take the fall. Why do I allow it. Why do I always make stupid little mistakes that end with huge consequences I wish I could sleep. With just her untill the world is perfect and beautiful but I can't why because I make stupid mistakes and take the stupid fall down an ( Read more... )

I cannot tell you life is just a dream and I cannot tell you that you will never have anything to worry about.

What I can tell you is this:

Hang on. There is hope, always. "Hope does not disappoint."

and then I'll disappear.

sometimes it seems as if it'd be easier to have this called a dream

But you know, dreams aren't always good. Those are called something different though.

And I'm sorry. I love you.

I was using the term dream generally

...but then, what would you have learned? Would the love you had experienced been real, or imagined? Would the lessons learned have been real, or faded from memory once you've awakened?

All that is good and all that is bad, strengthens who you are each and every day. All of us wish we could wipe away the bad that happens, but someday...down this road or another, what you have learned will help you to hold another's hand, to comfort their fears, to help them through their growing process.

You already know this, it's just hard to remember through the clouds.

I don't want to change anything that's happened in the last year. None of it. If any one of those events were erased, I'd be a different me than I am today which is different yet still from the me I'll be a year from today.

If life is a dream, it's a pretty shitty one, but one I don't want to wake up from nonetheless.

personally, i'm glad life isn't a dream. i'd hate to wake up and find it had all been a dream. i'd hate to wake up to find that i'd never met you at all, and everything that's happened wasn't real.. x;

The girl's got a point.

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily. Life is but a dream...

Someone I know once reasoned that there is no Hell, but that living on earth instead of in Heaven is like doing our time in Hell. Life is full of grief---heartache and suffering, worry and pain and panic and disaster---but think about it. Things can suck really badly sometimes, but it's worth it. Playing, learning, making friends, falling in love, seeing new things, being creative, having all the freedom of humanity. And dreaming. It's worth it. :)

that hypothesis on Earth being Hell isn't all that farfetched you know.. after all, adam and eve were cast out of the garden of eden all those years ago and this is just a continuation of that. when we sufficiently prove ourselves, prove to God that our hearts can be pure, we're admitted to Heaven and put back with God where we belong. maybe that's why we die? maybe the reason some people die young is because their hearts didn't take long to prove. i know a few who would have fallen into that category.

but like Lily said, life isn't all bad. God must have put the good things in life to help us along with proving ourselves, to bring out the best in us and let it bring us back to Him.
