Having slowly recuperated, I ventured out of the house yesterday for some essentials. Groceries, six books, and a teapot.
Alright, so I got swotted for bringing them home, but this is what happens when the local shops have an op-shop attached. Bookloot list includes a yellowed copy of Splashdance Silver, a Dragonlance Saga novel, a $0.50 John Brunner short story collection, and a shrink-wrapped elastic-banded notebook that was born with fieldwork in mind.
And the teapot, it's a teapot! When I'm less antisocial and reclusive, I shall brew some people tea in it. I'll even break out my made-in-china Northern-Europe-Japanese cups and saucers. When I have a digitial camera that works in my hands, I might picspam, see if I don't.
Now, it is time to find my scanner, which has been tidied away. I hate my clean house; I can't find anything.
