Contemporary string selections?

Hey flist... I'm putting together a sort of fiddle-violin-cello mix, focused around sources more contemporary than classical. Any suggestions?

(So far on my list are some select tracks from Nuttin' But Stringz, Flobots, Ashley MacIsaac, Jeff Danna, Aston, Nick Drake, The Verve, The Matinee Orchestra, and Hooverphonic.)
