I need to do just a little more tweaking on my The Monsters Are Due At Washington Square fanmix, but I think I finally hit on why the opening track doesn't sound quite right and what needs to be substituted in its place. Moreover, the "five things" fic is coming along quite well. After a couple of weeks of being distracted and blocked, I hammered out around 700 words this morning for two separate completed drabbles.

Current working title: "Five Road Signs Missed on the Way to the Apocalypse (And One That Wasn't)".
