So... movie adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender".
I just stumbled over the Super Bowl spot and the international teaser trailer. They don't suck, and they also don't give much away. It remains to be seen whether M. Night Shyamalan's casting decision to put in mostly Caucasian actors to represent decidedly non-Caucasian characters is anything but hubris. (I remain doubtful, since the original animated series is fantastic and a good portion of its greatness is its choice to focus on people who aren't usually the focus of Western entertainment.)
Still. Could be worth catching. And I still need to get all three seasons of Avatar (the original animated series, unrelated to the James Cameron SFX-fest) on DVD.
