Random Sherlock Holmes soundtrack stuff...
I just realized, on listening to the newly released Sherlock Holmes score, that Hans Zimmer pulled an interesting and subtle trick with the theme during the confrontation near Parliament. (On the soundtrack, it's the 18-minute track titled "Psychological Recovery... 6 Months".) He made the theme a minor-key variation on the Big Ben chime, which totally fits given that (I think?) Big Ben is directly adjacent London's Parliament building.
Anyways. Something to listen for, at least. I think I only noticed it because my parents had a grandfather clock and it was chiming that every quarter-hour or so.
