Vacationing: Cancun?
Yesterday, I surfed my way onto Wikipedia and found mention of the Mayan ruins at Uxmal, Chitzen-Itza, and Palenque. I've actually visited Uxmal and Chitzen-Itza before, nearly 25 years ago, and I found myself wondering about going to visit again. Of course, another major destination on the Yucatan peninsula is Cancun -- destination of spring-break types galore, no doubt.
So, does anyone have any suggestions or ideas about Cancun vacations? From that starting point (or maybe Medina, as one tour I checked out involves landing there and ending up in Cancun a few days later), I could probably set up a tour of the old Mayan ruins. : )
