This should tell you how crazy busy my worklife has been -- I missed a meme-tag nearly four months back and just discovered it this morning. *rolls eyes* So:
A little meme of writing down six unremarkable quirks about oneself.
1. When I'm working on a computer, I have to have the keyboard and monitor aligned exactly perpendicular to me. It drives me to distraction if I don't.
2. At work, I prefer to spend my lunch break reading a book by myself in the cafe. That's how I decompress from the constant tension and need to focus. The presence of three or four other guys and/or the cheap TV blaring out brainless soap operas in the corner keeps me from losing stress and may, in fact, add to it.
3. When I'm eating out, I prefer to have my back against a wall or, lacking that, in a position where I can see the majority of the room.
4. When I was younger I was such a perfectionist about my writing that I would literally erase a sentence I'd just written and re-write it to make the letters look "right". *eyeroll* Thankfully I've outgrown that.
5. I dislike the discomfort of formal clothes (even though people claim I look good in them) and prefer to dress in what makes me comfortable, which may make me unprofessional at times. I blame Silicon Valley's relaxed dress code for instilling this in me. *grin*
6. I like watching it rain, and watching clouds sweep across the sky when it's windy. Though preferably from indoors.
Blog tag is not mandatory, although you should do it, even if I don't tag you. Here are rules:
1. Tell about six unspectacular quirks of yours
2. Link the person who tagged you
3. Mention the rules in your blog
4. Tag six following bloggers by linking them
And I tag...
