Of course there will be an exchange of prompts, but what I meant was if there will be rules like wordcount (it'll be kind of unfair if one person writer 500 words and the other 10k or something), time spent (same logic) or a deadline.
If by "pairing" you mean two or more characters in romantic or sexual relationship, then I'm not into it either. I was thinking of writing you an El laberinto del fauno fic centered on the fairy creatures, specifically the arrival of the little girl from the point of view of the Faun based on the hypothesis of the Faun was actually toying with her, that she wasn't really a princess. But want you want is up to you.
What I want right now is kind of fuzzy. The movies I have on mind right now are not on your fandom list. They are 12 Monkeys, The Source Code or The legend of the pianist on the ocean, and I do not want fics on the characters, but rather on the concepts presented in the stories. The seed concepts would be time and "good dying" (when the character dies, is it a good death or a bad death?) and peripheral concepts would be time travel (not always in the sci-fi sense), closed loop, the unchangeable and such. The key sentence would be "I cannot change anything because [in a way] this has already happened." And the story must end with a death (can be metaphorical rather than physical). Yes, I'm basically asking for an original fic. I'm really not sure if I'm proposing the right thing anymore... sorry if this sounds too egocentric or demanding, I'm just asking if it's possible. Not trying to make you do it.
Well, I don't put much of an emphasis on how long something is. Rather, I feel that the ability to encapsulate the same amount of force and power in a short amount of text is more admirable than doing so with a larger amount of text (probably because I find it difficult to embrace brevity in my writing). My point is that you shouldn't feel pressured to write a piece of a certain length. If you feel better about having a word minimum/limit and a deadline, just say so and we'll work something out.
That being said I am a big fan of El laberinto del fauno, and I think that idea is brilliant. I'd love to read that.
I haven't seen 12 Monkeys or The legend of the pianist on the ocean, but I have seen Source Code, so I have an idea of what you're asking for here. Something I should have listed on this post is that I am indeed open to writing original fiction, so I'll definitely try to tackle this idea for you. Hopefully I can do it in a way that's to your satisfaction.
The El laberinto del fauno fic is filled and posted here. Hope you like it. (Please do comment telling me what you like and what you don't like, so next time I can write a better one.)
