Jail? For LIFE?

This really wasn't even my idea in the first place.

That was never really a possibility. I just want you to understand there are consequences for your actions.

So you're going to threaten me based on my choice of reading material????

::sighs::

No. Read what you want. Plot what you want. I just wanted to make it clear to you that if you put anything in to action and there will be consequences. We don't take treason lightly in America Tirion.

Over-throwing unpopular rule is very acceptable in some places.

Over-throwing an established and trusted rule is grounds for execution in most places, including those democratic countries your granfather loves so much.

No! I'm just trying to show him how serious a crime this sort of thing is. We. Do. Not. Execute. In. Tirion.

I didn't think you had secret police in Tirion either but you're just full of surprises.

Not secret police. Police in general. FBI. CIA. Is it wrong to have people around to maintain order?

It is when they start violating principles set out by the state to protect basic freedoms.

SUCH AS THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH.

Which means we can discuss hypothetical coups till the cows come home.

I'd like to know what country you're coming from, but in everyone I know of your right to free speech is immediatly cancelled when you begin making threats on the government.

The independent state of my mun's living room.

You should hear what she has to say whenever the news is on.

My mun completely agrees. Unfortunately she has no governmental power beyond a vote that doesn't really count, so she's based my government on the US government in everything but "democratic" title, which we all know it really isn't. She says there are books that are red-flagged at the library and if you check them out in a suspicious manner, the FBI investigates. I'm just following suit here. I never said it was fair. It's a monarchy. I don't think it's meant to be fair.

I wasn't suspicious. I read that type of thing for pleasure.

I couldn't help consider it suspicious given your history of attempted coups. But, I'll repeat for the tenth time, the subject is dropped. Try to take over the government and you'll be met with resistance. Otherwise, do what you will as long as you don't harm anyone.
