Have you tried pressing "Ctrl + A" to check if there was text below? Maybe your browser is having color issues and copy/pasting it into wordpad will make it easier for you to read.

Otherwise our magnificent mod might have some suggestions herself when she sees your message.

Yeah, I've tried that, but there doesn't seem to be any text besides what I posted up below. The really weird part is that there's a long, long way down of grey color until the text/banner part - like when you scroll down, it's halfway until the end, and after the text there's just grey background again until the page stops. I've no idea what's wrong, but if it isn't fixable I suppose I'll have to wait until February 26th (when authors are allowed to post the story elsewhere) to read it.

Complicated situation is complicated :/

I've changed the colors to a higher contrast in case it was a contrast ratio problem. It's now also offered in a dark text on white background version (available from the top right navigation menu at the archived link).

Were you able to read the first fic posted okay? Is it just this one that's having the missing text problems?

Try refreshing it and please tell me if there are any problems still. I'd like to fix these issues now so that you can enjoy future posts in any browser. ♥

I had no trouble at all reading the first fic; which is why I am so confused as to why I can't view this one. So so far I've only had issues with this one, I just hope the pattern doesn't continue because I'd really like to read all of these stories :/

I see that the colors have been changed, but there's no other changes. There's still only a poster/banner and a small block of text (which I'm not even sure is the beginning of the fic or somewhere in the middle.) Like I said earlier, I have to scroll down about half-way until I can view anything, and then there's just an empty background until the page ends. It's still the same, unfortunatly, and I don't have any other browsers to try and view it in. I'm just sort of hoping I'll be able to view the other stories, at this point.

I thank you for trying, though. You're being a lovely mod, don't convince yourself otherwise :)

That is strange. The only difference between the two is that this one has an additional table to make the text wrap around the poster and continue below it.

Okay, here's some more troubleshooting:

I've created a separate test page to see if it's the table. So try this page and let me know if it works or not. :)

Because I was hoping to use that design trick for more fics, but I might not if this problem persists.

I actually do have the same problem when I try to view it using IE8. However when I try to view it with Firefox it comes up fine (though I haven't read it yet--I will leave an actual review when I get finished. Just wanted to let people know who might be having the same problem that it's probably an internet browser issue and to try using a different browser (if there's one available...)
