Most people have said it was probably meant as an insult, but it might have been meant as a joke, depending on the context.

Ah, no, no one called me that... It seems like it was meant as a joke between friends...

That's probably what it was, then. Friends can develop strange ways of showing affection for one another, sometimes.

I have, yes. We've been revising Philip's book on their percussive language, and working on deciphering the spoken.

I would be happy to share it with you. I know Philip wants us to be discreet with the spoken language, but that is only on our own world.

It is. We don't even understand what they say, most of the time, and already it's fascinating.
