Draft/Check-in Submission Guidelines!

Mar 10, 2011 18:27

Hey guys! It's been awhile, hasn't it? Time is just flying by, but it is now March 10th and time to send in your drafts for the fest! Kudos to the 2 people who have all ready finished and submitted their stories, but for everybody else (myself included >.>) It's time to seriously buckle down as we head into the last 3 weeks before posting begins. Also, it's time for me to get the posting schedule written up, so here is what I need from you guys to help me do that:

1) As I said, there are still 3 weeks before posting begins and I'm hoping to go the whole month of April, so you still have plenty of time to finish your work. However, if you feel that you will not have the time or energy to finish, please let me know now. I understand that sometimes life gets crazy and this isn't real life, it's not like I'm going to fine you for dropping out, but it will be very helpful for me to know now as opposed to trying to track you down later and having to scramble to fill a blank spot in the posting schedule. You are more than welcome to post your story after the fest, it just won't be included in the master list, or save it for the second round.

2) If you are still participating in the fest, then I need you to email your drafts to kurtdisneymod@gmail.com and use DRAFT SUBMISSION in the subject line.

----AUTHORS! Please send your draft as an attachment to your email. I don't care how rough or how far along it is, heck, it's fine if all you have is a title and an outline, as long as you think you can finish in time. With your attachment, please include the following information:
     +LJ username
     +Main pairing and movie prompt
     +Fic Rating
+Fic Word Count (If it's not finished make a ballpark guess)
+If you're not finished how far along are you are percentage wise and how long do you think it will take you to finish
+Optional! If there are any dates in April when you cannot post. For example, I can't post the 14th-17th because I will be camping and without internet access

----ARTISTS! Please send your draft as an attachment to your email. Again, I don't care how rough or far along you are. At this point, stick figures are fine. With your attachment, please include the following information:
     +LJ username
     +Main pairing and movie prompt
     +Art rating
+Art medium (yes, you'll be sending it to me, but I know nothing about art so you have to tell me what I'm looking at ^_^)
+If you're not finished, how far along are you percentage wise and how long do you think it will take you to finish
+Optional! If there are any dates in April when you cannot post. For example, I can't post the 14th-17th because I will be camping and without internet access.

If you have and questions/concerns, feel free to leave a comment on this post or PM me.

Now that all the business stuff is out of the way, everybody have FUN! And get super pumped about all the great stuff that's going to be coming in just a few short weeks. And be jealous that I get an early sneak peek.
