Why is he at the airport??? Good God 0_0 Picking up Kurt maybe? Please let the airport thing to be something about Klaine.

Hmmmm that banner. I'm sure it is Sue and it'll be treated cracky and a way to embarrass him...but it seems overly mean though. Not that Sue is the epitome of niceness (remember when she threw at Mercedes, put dirt in Santana and Brittany's lockers?)

I don't know if my mind is just plagued by gay sex or something lol but I can't really imagine "bottom" meaning anything else other than in the sexual way. And a teacher ridiculing a student for their sexual behaviour/preferences/whatever word you want to use seems rather mean.

The thing is, if Sue if trying to humiliate him would Blaine be the kind of character who would be embarrassed by having a lower social standing? You know, he has never talked about how being in Glee means he's bottom of the social heap before unlike all the other characters, he's student president, he's in the Cheerios which he didn't join as a status thing either.

If it is Sue what could the bottom thing mean?

I'm not expecting much logic or a big to do about it on the show, so it might be something that is brought up for the first time in the actual episode itself...

Oh okay sorry misunderstanding there. The students of McKinely (hello Quinn) tend to treat being on the "bottom" of the school as if its a death sentence. Then there's Sue who always says Glee at the bottom of the heap as well.

So a parallel with Brittany and the cheerio canon maybe? It would then have to be something a little more drastic than a cheerio pyramid unless Blaine is suddenly not the boxer anymore who would have very strong arms and back :) Though everyone has their limit of strength I suppose...

I haven't seen much homophobia in McKinely since Karofsky. Didn't Kurt have a moment when he was walking down the halls in the lat episode of series 3 and there were some gay guys who looked up to him because he made it alright to come out or something.

I mean it is probably still there Glee loves its offensive background football players , and it is Ohio, and from what I've heard of Ohio...well...but in terms of what we see on our screens there doesn't seem to be much. I mean you have proud Unique walking down the halls in her heels and make up. Generally speaking a transgendered person faces more discrimination than an LGB person, and the "fear" is often more intense and violent. If the majority of the school can accept her (and god they better TV really needs a happy and proud trans person) a vague double-entrende reference to gay sex should go over their heads.

It certainly wouldn't be the first time Sue has made gay jokes/references about students - she's made a number of comments towards Kurt over the years. Jane even mentioned a line that got cut where she referred to him as a "power bottom".

If it is related to the Sue/Blaine feud, then I would assume it's meant to have a double-meaning (like a lot of Sue's comments) - Blaine's "on the bottom" in terms of their fight (as in, she's on the top of the podium/victorious), as well as a reference to his sexuality.

Hmm maybe. I think it will defo be a reference to him being gay, why else word it like that you know? Saying someone is on the bottom because you're victorious over them is not a common saying. So yeah double entrede like whoa

No it wouldn't be the first time. I don't like it when she basically calls Santana a slut and etc as well. the power bottom line might've been funny depending on Kurt's reactions since Chris Colfer is the king of reaction shots. But Sue has always liked Kurt and been quite soft towards him - especially after Karofsky - so that would have probably not have come across as...spiteful as she sometimes does.

Blaine is on the bottom of the pyramid (Cheerio routine).
I think that back in S1, Sue punished Santana (and maybe Brittany, too?) by putting them on the bottom as well.

ETA: Nope, it's S2E01, in the scene where she comments on Santana getting a boob job.
