"How's he doing?" Burt asks, for once not being outraged when he walks into his son's bedroom to see said son and said son's boyfriend cuddled up on the bed. Mainly because Kurt had fallen asleep in Blaine's arms, and Blaine was just lying there holding him; comforting Kurt in ways that Burt can't even attempt. He brings them both glasses of water, knowing that they've been upstairs for hours and must be thirsty by now.
"I think he'll be fine." Blaine whispers, as he looks down to make sure he hasn't woken Kurt up by them talking. "He's passed the Anger stage of grief, and has now moved on to Bargaining; saying he'd give up his clothing budget if he could just get into NYADA. If I were you, I'd find Carmen Thibideaux and find a way to make that happen." He jokes, and Burt nods, chuckling softly.
"Has he mentioned what he might do now instead?" Blaine shakes his head.
"He's still under the impression that its NYADA or bust. Not knowing that he could still get into any number of the schools he applied for in New York." Blaine tried to hide the smile. It had been a secret between him and Burt. Neither one of them had been too happy about the idea of Kurt only applying to NYADA, but they hadn't been able to talk him into applying anywhere else. So they had taken that into their own hands, Blaine filling out all of Kurt's applications and gathering everything he could for the applications; and Burt would send them in on his behalf. It was a secret shared between them, and only them. They weren't about to let Kurt know yet. "Have any of his letters come in yet?"
Burt nods his head. "Five of them are waiting downstairs for him to open when he wakes up. The rest should be here soon."
