Thank you!
~Ooh, I love Botticelli, and Raphael, and of course Leonardo (his angel in Virgin of the Rocks is one of my favorites! http://fineartamerica.com/featured/detail-of-the-angel-from-the-virgin-of-the-rocks-leonardo-da-vinci.html)

:) Thanks, I'm afraid the quality is devolving the more I draw... but I was having fun with the Renaissance idea.

I'd love to see more of your angels~maybe some "Klainegels".

I need to go to Italy some day!

Ahhh, lucky sister! I bet the carnival masks are gorgeous and would be inspiring to draw! That's so sad that she didn't get to enjoy the historical landmarks. ;( That's my concern about visiting Italy, how to fit everything in! But it must have been magical just to be there and soak up the atmosphere. I'd love to go to Greece too. (By the way, did you read Mary's Flanner's latest story? There were some cool historical allusions at the beginning.)

I must be living under a rock, because I haven't actually read any Anne Rice. That sounds like a cool book though. (Ooh, I see on wikipedia there is an icon painter from Kiev named Andrei...I have a Russian/Ukrainian friend with the same name who's an artist...I love Russian and Italian art and history). Anyway, I'll have to check it out sometime.

If you do scan any new artworks, I'd love to see. (I'll be gone on a trip for a week or so, so I probably won't be able to see or comment until after then.)

Alrighty, have a good night! Thanks again!
