Kurt, still his best friend, is secretly still in love with him after the break up from high school. As the wedding date approaches, Kurt has to decide whether to let Blaine marry the other guy, or step up to the plate and confess his true feelings. Short Excerpt: “Is the popcorn ready?” Blaine asked, stepping into the living room in a pair of NYADA sweatpants and a white tank top.
Kurt poured the melted butter over the popcorn, shook it a little, then held it out to Blaine. “That it is, your highness.”
“Thank you, peasant. You may leave now.”
Kurt laughed and shoved at Blaine’s shoulder. “Get out of here.”
“It’s my apartment!”
“Not for long.”
Blaine paused and smiled sadly. “No. Not for long. Kind of bittersweet, isn’t it? I’m going to miss this place.”
Kurt nodded and looked around as they migrated to the couch. “Yeah, this apartment has housed many a rager. So many good parties, so many good memories.”
