5. DJ Danger Mouse - The Grey Album (2004)
A work of singular genius and madness, Danger Mouse remixes together Jay-Z's Black album with The Beatles' White album to produce the most interesting concept album in years. It also posseses some great individual tracks that stand easily on their own, with Dirt Off Your Shoulder being an awesome example. Iconoclastic as it is excellent, no rights were secured for this album and it's available only by download.
