“Oh my god, today is totally a wonderful day~” Ryosuke walk while smiling and humming his favorite song.
Today Ryosuke will be in his second years in Horokoshi High School and everything is going on smoothly for the cute brown haired boy. Ryosuke is too concentrated with his walk until he doesn’t even realize when a figure come approaches him from behind.
That figure suddenly put his hand on Ryosuke eyes completely closing it making the brown haired boy startle. “Guess who?” he asks.
Ryosuke smile while he pull that hand from his eyes and turn his body around facing his attacker. “A stranger...” he said.
“Hey that is rude Yama-chan, I’m your best friend not a strangers… Plus, you don’t even wait for me this morning…” He said while crossing his hand on his chest.
Ryosuke just blink his eyes few time. “Ara… gomen ne, Hikaru-kun… I totally forget about you this morning.” Ryosuke said casually make him to receive a little smack on his forehead from Hikaru.
“Ouch! That hurt you know!” Ryosuke rub his forehead.
Hikaru look at him with a satisfied look on his face. “Serve you right… next time waits for me or you will get another smack from me. Got it!”
“Hai~” Ryosuke respond slowly while giving his taller friend a salute gesture.
“Saa Ikou… or else we will be late for school.” Hikaru said as he walks beside Ryosuke.
“You look so happy today Yama-chan; anything good happen?” Hikaru ask Ryosuke along their walk to school.
“Well… nothing happen. I just feel happy today.” Ryosuke answer while flashing his cute smile to him.
Hikaru chuckles when seeing Ryosuke happy face. His best friend sure is cute. “Don’t feel too happy Yama-chan… I’m afraid that something bad will happen to you later.”
“If something happen… I have you to settle it for me right!” Ryosuke roll his eyes to Hikaru while grinning.
“tcks- I’m not your babysitter okay~” Hikaru said firmly.
Hikaru is one year older than Ryosuke that is why sometime Ryosuke will act spoiled with him. Not that Hikaru hate it… Hikaru is not just Ryosuke best friend but also his childhood friend. That is why they always together.
Ryosuke really hope that this year… he will have a great year. But god doesn’t grand his wishes because this year, again… he has to face his rival Nakajima Yuto. They got into the same class again like last year and from his experience last year, being in the same class as him is making his school life ruined.
“Another year with you Chibi; how unlucky am I.” Yuto roll his eyes and walk away leaving Ryosuke with a feeling want to straggle the taller until that rival of him no longer can breathe.

“Oi Chibi… are you sure that you can run faster than me?” Yuto ask Ryosuke. They are having a PE class now and they had challenge each other who is the fastest runner.
“Don’t you ever look down at me Nakajima? My body maybe is small but I sure run faster than you.” Ryosuke answer, doesn’t want to give up. He stretches his body a little before line up at the start line along with Yuto beside him grinning.
“We will see about that, Yamada Ryosuke.”
“PAP!!” as soon as they heard the sound they immediately run as fast as they can while arguing with each other along the running until they reach the end line both at the same time.
“We are tie… damn I hate it.” Ryosuke said while panting.
“Me too, I can’t accept it. But I’m sure I’m one inch further than you.” Yuto said. Still refuse to give up.
“Huh?! Hell no way- I’m sure it is me who is one inch further than you!” Ryosuke shout while sending Yuto his dead glare.
*****“Ah, I win… My bento got more food then you Nakajima.” Ryosuke said happily while looking at his bento and Yuto bento.
“No you not… I have more.” Yuto put his bento in front of Ryosuke and show the brown haired boy that he got more food than him.

So that is how they daily routine… each time they meet each other, they will fight even for a simple things as who enter the class first or which table get more dust. Stupid right, but what can we do… even Hikaru can’t do anything for that.
They stupid fight continuing until one day a day before the exam week started… they make a deal with each other.
“I’m looking for something more fun.” Ryosuke suddenly say after they finish arguing about who finish their homework first.
“Me too…” Yuto answered while nodding his head.
“Hey, next week is exam week right? How about this- who ever get lower score… will have to obey the other person command until he satisfied.” Ryosuke said.
“I agree with that… I definitely will win.”
“I don’t think so Nakajima. I’m quite smart you know.” Ryosuke said proudly while looking at Yuto.
“We will see about that… and for your information, I always get top when it comes to study. I’m smarter than you Chibi!”
Ryosuke is about to start another fight with Yuto when suddenly Hikaru call him from outside his class. “Yama-chan, let go home.” Hikaru said.
“Just give me a minute Hikaru-kun.” Ryosuke send Yuto his final glare before he walk to his seat and take his bag before walking out from his class toward Hikaru.
“So what happen earlier?” Hikaru ask. He know earlier when he came to Ryosuke class to fetch him, Ryosuke is having a fight with Yuto.
“No big deal… just the usual fight and something more…” he said casually.
Hikaru move his gaze to Ryosuke. “Something more, what it is?”
“We make a deal”
“What kind of deal?” Hikaru ask worriedly. He knows Ryosuke sometime can be stupid even though that he is smart.
“Well you know…” Ryosuke tell Hikaru about his deal with Yuto earlier. Hearing that, Hikaru eyes widen.
“What?! Do you know what you have done Yama-chan.” Hikaru shout.
“What? I didn’t do anything wrong right?” Ryosuke said. He is clueless about what Hikaru trying to say.
Hikaru sigh while shaking his head. “Think of it Yama-chan… what if Nakajima win. You have to obey all his command if worse, in your whole high school life. Can you bear with it?” Hikaru asks Ryosuke. He is his best friend and he is worried if something bad will happen to his best friend.
“So that’s mean I have to win right? Don’t worry… I just have to study a little bit more hard than usual and I’m sure I will win in our deal”
“I hope so… call me if you want some accompany in your study okay.”

The long waited day finally come… today the exam result will be out and both Ryosuke and Yuto already waiting to see they result. When they teacher hand them their result, they quickly look at it.
“Hah… I got 697/700 mark all of it. I win Nakajima~” Ryosuke said happily.
“Oh, you think so? Then try look at this one.” Yuto hang his result paper in front of Ryosuke face and when Ryosuke look at it… he almost shout of anger. It is over, all over… Yuto win with only one point different from him.
Yuto smile and take back his paper from Ryosuke face. “So Yamada… deal is a deal~ I win, so I will have you to do all the things I want right.” Yuto said with an evil smirk plastered on his face.
Ryosuke gulp his saliva. Somehow, he can sense something bad about this… really, really bad. “Oh god… please saves me…” Ryosuke pray in his heart.
“S-so, what you want me to do?” Ryosuke ask.
“I will tell you about that later, for now… I think you should go prepare yourself for the worse thing ever…” Yuto said then walk away leaving Ryosuke there with a huge regret inside his heart.
“Serve me right for making that kind of deal. Now I have to accept whatever will happen after this.”

“As I thought, things will turn out like this.” Hikaru said while looking at Ryosuke trouble face. As soon that he knows he lose from their deal, Ryosuke immediately go meet Hikaru when his best friend is on his way to the student council room for a meeting. “Now what should I do?”
“Did he tell you his command already?” Hikaru ask and Ryosuke shake his head.
“He tells me that I should prepare myself for the worse scenario ever.”
Hikaru sigh and pat Ryosuke head slowly. “I hope you learn your lesson now Yama-chan. As what Nakajima had said, you should prepare both your mental and physical. I pray that he won’t be so cruel.” He said; try to reassuring the brown haired boy.
“Now, I have some work to do… I will think of some way if he really did want to torture you Yama-chan.” Hikaru said before he walks away.
Ryosuke walk slowly to the rooftop. He doesn’t have any appetite to eat anything today. So he decides to take a nap there while thinking what Yuto will do to him.
“If I’m Nakajima… what will I do to my rival? Hmm…” Ryosuke thought while looking at the blue sky above him.
Ryosuke keep on thinking until he remembers something. Something that he already throws it away the first time he got into this school and meet Nakajima Yuto. It is Ryosuke own feeling towards that taller boy.
“I glad I buried that feeling that day… or else now I must be suffering a lot because… he hate me and we always fight each other.” Ryosuke look at the blue sky. Even though that he already forgot that feeling, he still feels hurt when he thinks of it again.
Three years ago, when Ryosuke almost get bumped by a car… Yuto is the one who rescuing him. That was the time when Ryosuke fall in love with Nakajima Yuto. He thought that Yuto is a person who was so kind, handsome, has a good manners and looking so perfect in his eyes. Ryosuke thought that he can never meet with Yuto again but he was wrong… a few weeks before he enters his high school, Ryosuke meet with Yuto again in the train. That time Ryosuke witnessing Yuto giving a seat to an old women and he had overheard Yuto conversation with his friend that he will be entering Horikoshi high school.
So Ryosuke had decided to also entering Horikoshi just to meet with Yuto again and luckily his family agrees to let him go there because Hikaru is also in Horikoshi so there will be someone who can take care of him at school.
But Ryosuke hope all this time, crash when he meets Yuto on the first day. At first Yuto didn’t say anything to him. It seems like the taller doesn’t even recognized him. But that was still okay for Ryosuke… what the worse was what happen after that.
Yuto suddenly call him Shorty when they were paired as a lab partner. He hates it when someone calls him Shorty even though that he really is short, he doesn’t want to accept that huge fact of his self. So that time is the first time they speak to each other and their very first arguing. After that, Ryosuke start to learn Yuto real nature and he feel so heartbroken. At last… he decided to let go of his feeling and make Yuto his rival.
“So Yamada, are you ready?” Yuto asks. The school is already over, it is only Ryosuke and Yuto left in the classroom and at the same time Hikaru suddenly have a work to do, so he can’t help Ryosuke now.
“I think so…” Ryosuke answered.
“Don’t worry… it is no hard to do, it actually very simple. You don’t have to be afraid.”
“So what is it?”
“I want you…” Yuto stop a while and smile before he continues his word. “To be my boyfriend.”
