Summary: He is an orphan taken care by an organization held by Hyakuya Research. At first he thought finally he have someone he could call a family but then it happen. When he was nine years old, a deadly virus was spread all over the world making all the adult to turn into a monsters leaving only the children lurking, searching for a place to hide from the evil that have taken over the world. It was the vampire society. He swear to protect his family; but being only a kids, he stand hopelessly infront the overpowered vampire; watching his family killed one by one and the rest was taken hostage.
Years by years, with revenge as his only life source; he swear to kill all the vampires that responsible for his family death. However, life upfront is not as easy as he thought it would be.

Chapter 1
“Hey Ryo-chan, you have been off a lot nowadays.”
“Ah, sorry. I just thinking about something.”
“What? Share with me!”
“The image of the outside world.”
“Ruined… I think”
“Yeah, sometime I thought it was safer here…”
“Have you ever thought of wanting to go out?”
“Always… I’m sick of being their meals.”
“Then I need to work harder… for you and for everyone else.”
“What do you mean? Hey! Hey Yuto, where’re you going?”
“Out; take care of them okay.”
Ryosuke just watch as Yuto climbed down the stairs and from up he can hear the front door opened and then closed again. He clicked his tongue and lay down his body on the cold wooden floor. He can feel that Yuto is up to something this few weeks but he can’t do anything to stop him. That guy refuse to talk even though he have asked him almost every day until he was tired of his own question.
Ryosuke wash off the bad feeling from his heart and picked a book near him and read until he dozed off. He completely forgot to watch over the family and just open his eyes when Yuto wake him up.
Ryosuke creased his forehead as he saw Yuto troubled face hovering on his own face. “What’s wrong?” He asked the latter.
“You cried…”
“Ah, really?” Ryosuke slowly getting into sitting position and wiped the traced of dry tiers on his cheeks. “I did…”
“Is something wrong?” asked the worried Yuto but Ryosuke just smiled to him and get up.
“Nothing, come its dinner time already.” I was worried about you idiot. Ryosuke craved a satisfied smile without Yuto noticed. He just worried about him; worried that affecting him dream world until he was imagining him getting killed. He was so glad that it just a bad dream.

However, the dreams soon became real…
A faint smile make its way on Ryosuke face when he remembered one of that day. The day when he still have his family, when he still have Yuto beside him. He missed them so much, praying every day to be forgiven for being a selfish and ungrateful family members to them.
Ryosuke clench his teeth as the memories of them, killed by the nasty vampire soaked his mind. His grip turn into fist. The guilty feeling will never go away. It’s haunted his life forever until the day he finally killed the last vampire on earth.
Ryosuke take a deep breath. He hold himself from breaking down again. For the last time, he glanced over the shabby photo of his former family. He scrutinize their face one by one until his eyes meet with Yuto. Rubbing the cold fixed figure of him as his heart praying over and over again for his forgiveness.
Over all of them, he regret of not able to save him the most. Yuto, the first person who welcomed him as a family with his bright smile. The person who once become the light of his life… die because of him.
“Yuto…”
“Just wait, I’ll kill them for you.” He whispered… an unspoken promised made by him for his late family… after all that happen, it’s the only way he can think can kick away his guilty feeling for them.
*knock knock
Ryosuke turn his head to the door when he hear the knocking. He quickly put away the photo inside the drawer and opened the door.
“What you want Keito.”
“They are calling us; to the headquarters, now.” He informed him and rested his back on the wall. He didn’t leave, he waited for Ryosuke to get ready and head there together. Somehow, he feel better that way. He don’t know how to describe it but… for whatever reason, he can see that his teammate just shed tears even just a little.
“Where’s the other?”
“Already on their way.”
“Hey…”
“Hmm?”
“Are you ok?”
“Perfect, why?”
“Kiss me…”
Ryosuke is unable to give a reply to the sudden request since the latter already pulled his face to face him and crashed their lips together. Ryosuke was not in the mood for this so he quickly push Keito as hard as he can. Ryosuke backed-off a little as he glared at the unsteadily Keito.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” Ryosuke shouted at him, hands already on his sword. Ready to attack if Keito reason for suddenly kissing him is unreasonable and unforgiveable.
“As I thought, you’re not yourself again Ryosuke…”
“Huh?” Ryosuke lifted his eyebrow, confused with what Keito talking about.
“I’m your boyfriend but your eyes earlier shows that you see me not more than just a normal teammate. You even greeted me coldly. And what more, you’re rejecting my kiss so much like that.”
As reality hit him hard, Ryosuke blink his eyes twice. Keito was so right… from the moment he opened the door, all he thought was killing the vampires and he totally forgot about him. There was only one person in his mind that time… and it was Yuto. He wanted to kill for Yuto and again, he have hurt Keito with his cold act.
As soon as he realize his mistake, Ryosuke quickly rushed toward Keito and cupped his cheeks. “I’m soo sorry okay. Yes indeed I admit it. I’m not myself earlier. My body was full with bloodlust to kill the vampires. I’m sorry if I have hurt you.”
Knowing that Ryosuke do apologize sincerely to him, Keito formed a reassuring smile and take Ryosuke hand from his cheeks. Giving it a light kiss before he hold it tightly. “It’s okay…”
He know he was bad for playing with his heart. He know he was wrong in involving Keito with his mess up life. But what can he do? He was hopeless and longing for Yuto warm wrath. And he know he can find the almost same thing from Keito. He completely aware that he is hurting him… but just for a while; let him enjoy a little happiness even if it was just a fake.

“Ryosuke behind you!”
“Lend me your power, my sword…” In just one swing, the vampires that jumped from his back turn into black ash before they disappear into the thin air.
“Otsukaresama…” Keito said to him as he put away his own katana. He walked to Ryosuke and patted the latter shoulder. “You did a great job.”
“Yeah… it was a piece of cake.” Ryosuke replied nonchalantly. His eyes roamed around the abandoned Shinagawa station. “We aren’t fighting noble today?”
“Nope, it just a marking place job today. They want to include this area into our site. Seems like there is a group of human living under the station.” The squad leader Meisa approach them along with the other teammates.
“Livestock…”
“Yup, it seems to be that way.” Meisa turn her body facing Ryosuke. She have her hand crossed on her chest with a furious face, she glared at him. “Ryosuke, you break the formation again!” She scolded him. “With your irresponsible act, you might get all of us killed! Lucky that Keito was there to cover your space. Thank him properly and apologize to everyone.”
“It’s okay Kuroki-san… we all save right.”
“Shut up Arioka-san, he need to learn the real meaning of T.E.A.M.W.O.R.K!” She spelled the word one by one showing that she is serious in wanting Ryosuke to act more befittingly for the team sake.
Ryosuke didn’t argue with her and just apologize before he entered the station to transfer the humans to a safer place before going home. His body is begging for rest already.
“Thanks for walking me to my house Keito.”
“Do you want me to stay?”
Ryosuke smiled and gently rejected his offer; saying that he really want to sleep and request to be alone tonight. Though that Keito is reluctant to let him go, he agree to it and walk away.

Ryosuke gasped as his eyes opened widely. His breathe in uneven and his body is covered with cold sweats. He just had another bad dreams. Ryosuke glance over the window, the bright sunrays beaming through the slightly opened curtain. Another night passed with him unable to have a peaceful sleep.
Ryosuke let his body lying tangled up in the sheets for a couple more minutes. Lately the bad dreams have become more frequent and it’s happening almost every day now. He sighed hard. Just when he planned to stay in bed a little longer, he heard a knock at the door. Judging from the time it happen, Ryosuke figure it out to be Keito as the one who is visiting him this early.
He lazily move his body to open the door and then walk back to his bed. He lay on his stomach on his bed and let Keito in to his room. “Keito… I’m lazy today…” He whined to him and rolled on his bed from right to left a few time.
“Don’t you wanna get up? At least to have breakfast?”
“Nope! Too lazy to cook.”
Keito smiled. Though that Ryosuke is acting spoiled, he was okay with it. It shows that the latter is in a good mood today. Thank goodness, he was worried as hell yesterday. That is also the reason why he was here so early in the morning.
“I don’t know if you will like it but I only have sandwich with me now. I thought of eating it here but I think we can share. I give you half okay.”
“Good!” Ryosuke twisted on his position to face his boyfriend. He is excited to have the sandwich but Keito seems to not wanting to hand it over to him. He pouted. “What’s wrong?”
“At least go wash your face and brush your teeth first.”
“Oh yeah, I forgot…” For his sandwich, Ryosuke jumped out of his bed. He rushes to the bathroom and clean himself as quick as he can then comeback to have his breakfast.
“Here, have some coffee.” Keito give him the drink that he make while waiting for Ryosuke to clean himself before start eating his own sandwich too.
Keito eyes suddenly landed on a certain spot on Ryosuke bed. Near his pillow, he could see a photo of a group of children which he figure out as Ryosuke former family members. He didn’t know much but he did know a little about Ryosuke past before he become one of the Japanese Moon Demon Army. He must be missing them so much…
“Nee Keito…”
“Hmm?”
“I’m going out for a little walk today.”
“Where to?”
“Dunno… somewhere.”
“Can I come with you?”
“I’m sorry but this time you can’t.” Ryosuke put down his half eaten sandwich and look at his boyfriend face. “I promise you that I won’t harm myself. I just going for a walk. Not too far from the save zone.”
“Okay… but promise me to come back early okay. I’ll wait for you in front of your door this evening.”
“Hai… hai…”

Ryosuke sit down on the pile of crushed building as he glance over the horizon. The sun is setting down. He just wanted to stay there a little longer. Why he wanted to go out alone without Keito and risking his life to be founded by the vampire? Ryosuke is actually just putting a mask in front of Keito and everyone. He’s getting frustrated day by day as he thought that he can’t fulfill his promise to Yuto. The bad dreams is also the reason for his stress.

Ryosuke jolted up when he think that he heard a voice calling his name. He turn around. From such a high place, he can see almost every way around him but he can see no one there except him. Was he just imagining things? And what make it worse… the voice if somehow familiar due to the way it spell his name…
In this world; only one person have called him that way.

if you never watch the show, I really recommand it to you; damn! I fall in love with this pair the first time I saw them. They just perfect together! ahahaha!!! <3 like YutoYama! haha~~
