Ending Sequence

I have to bring up something that has been bothering me for a while. In the ending sequence of the anime (2nd season) there is a shot that shows a young Fai in a clearly warm ceres. (apparently flying with a pink rabbit/cat thing @.@) Does anyone know about how this came around? Could it be real? (the Kuro-chan shot is accurate) Or is it just the anime making up some generic Fai past.
