*squees madly at j00* SIXTH CHAPTER!!! THIS WAS SO WORTH STAYING UP ALL NIGHT TO FINISH THE OTHE FIVE. AHAHAHAHA. *____* I'm so glad we get a happier chapter--and I love the way you wrote this one, in little handfuls of precious moments that show how Kurogane and Fai are getting closer. I especially loved the kitten!snores. *snickering very muchly* I was a little confused at first with the whole Yama!flashback thing and these--gotten used to stars signaling flashback. :D But it makes sense that with the burning of the Yama!picturs there are no more Yama!flashbacks, if you meant it that way and I'm not reading too deep again. XD; *facepalms*

Seriously, though, this chapter was adorable. *snuggles them both* I love Kurogane's instinct--never fails him, and dammit, but at least one of them follows something other than their teeny-tiny brains. |D;;; *is aware that she is not making sense* If it makes you feel better, in the meantime, all of us appear to be getting eaten by this fic along with you. ♥

that would make TOTAL and COMPLETE sense. there are no more Yama flashbacks, but the next two chapters do have flashbacks. I thought about that, that the flashbacks maybe should end with the burning of the Yama memento. but the flashbacks do still have their purpose, and they wouldn't fit anywhere else.

yay! happy you liked! the kitten!snores is one of my favourite parts too.

Mm, well, story over symbolism's the right way to go, in any case. XDDDDD *has issues with this case of priorities, herself* <3 I'm looking forward to more flashbacks, then. XDD I like the explicit KuroFai!candy~

I've never actually heard a kitten snore. I think. :3 *puts it on list of things to do before kicking the bucket*

I can't believe there are no comments yet. o_o

This fic has eaten a small portion of.. well, not my brain, but maybe my heart. It's so quietly touching, and you capture the characters very well. ^_^

“No, I’m not. So stop looking at me like I am.”

I thought these lines were so well done, especially seeing them in reverse of how it is now in the manga..

I had such a rotton day and it made me so so so happy when I got home and saw that you had posted the next chapter! It's such a wonderful fic and my favortie KuroxFai fic by far. You're amazing!! :)
