Thing is, last chapter I knew it's got to get worse before it gets better. And I was anxious and not quite sure I wanted to know.

But now, I'm looking forward to see what's next.
Does that make me weird?

Nah, not weird. I can understand wanting to get to the good stuff as soon as possible. On the bright side, the next chapter should be easier to write than the previous ones, since it IS all sweet stuff. :)

Since you wrote it twice maybe you actually meant "shift" not "shirt"? My dictionary doesn't know it, so I'm not sure. Maybe it's some specialized vocabulary?

Hi, just a quick response here... Yes, I actually meant 'shift' rather than 'shirt.' (#17 in here.) It's a sort of old-fashioned term, refers to a simple unbelted long shirt or sleeveless dress. You might be familiar with the term "night shift" which is like a nightgown.

Google says it's something between Unterkleid and Unterhemd. There isn't an exact word for it in German, because it's referred to as Unterkleid, which could also mean some other garments.
Interesting.

But now I have an image in mind. And a lot of unneccessary lines in my comments... forgive me.^^

I am hoping that readers will find the sweet stuff at least as enjoyable as the horror and the drama. :) There's been a lot of both of those in this fic so far -- but really, I figure it's about the right time to give them a break and let their relationship gel a bit. The story is almost over -- just one or two chapters left to go. If it helps, though, a sequel is planned in the works, one that focuses more on Syaoran and Sakura -- and that will start the drama cycle off all over again!

I think Kurogane is not used to seeing himself as an object of admiration. ^_~ He doesn't seem to have much in the way of romances at home, with either women OR men. That Fai thinks he is sexy as hell is something that embarrasses him, but he'll just have to get used to it. *grin*

Fai probably knows more about Kurogane than Kurogane does about him even now -- but he hasn't really had time to process it yet, to sit down and think about what all it means. He'll figure it out later.
