You are GOOD at this. The horror atmosphere you've got going here is so good its almost tangible. I will remain on the edge of my seat here until I find out what happens next! *5 thumbs up*

(One tiny thing you might want to edit, just before the workshop bit Seishirou talks about Kurogane of CERES and the wizards of SUWA at one point)

Doh! You know, when I went to put this fic on ff.net I noticed that mistake, and I came back here to edit the post.... but then I ended up editing a bunch of other things and forgetting to change that mistake at all! XD

This is great! So amazingly twisted! And just a few chapters earlier Fai was had a nightmare about eating the people he cared about. I love your Seishirou, he's just so horrifying and vicious, I love the way Kurogane can' t do anything against him.
I can't wait for the next chapter! How's Kurogane going to deal with this?

Yeah, as bad as this is getting for Kurogane, it's much worse for Fai. This is pretty much his worst nightmare made reality. I'm so mean to my favorite characters. :(

It actually seemed kinda frustrating to me that Kurogane was so helpless against Seishirou, but the problem is, ultimately, that he has no defenses against magic. Give him a physical threat and a sword and he's your man, but he just doesn't have any of the resources he needs to fight off a magical assault. >_

Wow, another amazing chapter! This one was so dark, and the Seishirou you created - perfect with that feeling of sick madness mixed with vicious power! And Fai.. oh my... can't wait another chapter!

and to answer the question in a/n *just noticed*... as for me, I did expect Kurogane to meet Fai as his enemy, but not exactly like that. The ending left me thrilled o__o

Seishirou is a bad, bad man. I had to go back and re-read some of his appearances in Tokyo Babylon and X, to get a feel for his character again.

Hope to get the new chapter out faster than this last one!

LOL, I have to say that I skipped a couple of paragraphs when you were describing the dog on the table, too much information you could say, or maybe I'm too sensitive XD

Yeah, I can definitely understand that reaction. ^_^;; I wanted to include the sections about the animals because I wanted to tie this Seishirou back to his original roots in Tokyo Babylon, when he's posing as a veterinarian. Seishirou + animals = nightmare fuel.

Oh, I just saw the question in the A/N. I kind of guessed when Seishirou was talking about creating the oni, but I didn't see it coming before this chapter.

There was a lot of Seishirou standing around explaining things, but I couldn't really come up with any other way to get the information in there. Sorry about that >_

Nothing to be sorry about =P I have to admit I've missed the Kuro/Fai interaction for the past couple of chapters, but the story has to be told somehow~
