Woot! Sorry the first election you get to vote in is being dominated by self-serving politicians... on BOTH sides, left and right. Wish there was a happy middle to vote for. D:
Hey, if some of the candidates that're running are even eligible based on their IQs, I'm more than qualified, regardless of age.
XD But yeah, damn those regulations and such. I wasn't even born here, so that kinda disqualifies me for a lot of things anyway -- including giving blood. D:
christ I know, I really don't like how the media and politics can't give the moment of peace that should follow a tragedy... all I was hearing about was the gunman and guns and gunshots and then I saw some pictures of those killed (I can't think of a word to describe them adequately, "victims" seems such an ugly word) and they were all so beautiful.
don't run for president... it costs too much.
on the other hand, I love the way it is in England; I am blissfully unaware of 90% of what goes on in parliament and there are no campaign ads on TV or the radio or plastered across billboards (they save those for Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty...)
That whole VATech thing... has made me sick at heart. I'm homeschooling my kids, seriously. @_@; I hope I'll raise them right. I'll try my damndest.
Seeeeeriously considering moving my family over to England sometime in the very, very near future. If not there, at least some small town in the middle of the US. @_@ I dunno. This stuff is all reaaaaally getting ridiculous to the point that I don't watch TV or listen to the radio anymore just because I don't want to hear about the circus that goes on in our three lovely branches of government. Effective as though they (think they) are, I'm sick of it.
Anyway, enjoy England. @_@;; A lot. I'm really getting to miss it. D:
