OWbN/Larp Post (Attn. Coordly types & CMs)
To make it semi-official, I will be running for Lasombra Coord again this year. If any of the various people on this list have any questions for me, I would be happy to answer them. On that note, there were some questions asked already. I can start there I suppose.
1: What are your thoughts regarding PC Archons?
1a: If you don't like them, what do you plan on doing with the
existing ones?
Not applicable to the position I am looking at. But... I think that, used judiciously, they are a good thing.
2: How long have you been a player in OWBN?
I'm in my 6th year of doing this. The person that wrote these questions, Corey Karels, is the one that gave me the address. I can blame him and Chad Carlson for my being in the org at this point.
3: What is your stance on members of the Camarilla having Obten Out of Clan, where it wasn't learned from a Camarilla Lasombra?
Camarilla doesn't like people learning from unauthorized sources, and the Lasombra don't like people having their gifts. Members of the Camarilla that are known to have obten learned from outside Camarilla Lasombra are likely on several hit lists somewhere. Dangerous little thing to dabble in, though it does lead to plot and role-play in the best situations.
4: What is your stance on members of the Camarilla having Vicissitude?
If they get caught, they will likely die or have all sorts of other badness happen to them.
5: Are there any Org Wide plot's that you're looking at instigating?
Possibly in conjunction with the Sabbat Coord. On the Cam side, though, I would prefer to work with individual STs to generate plot for the Lasombra in their games.
6: What state do you live in, and how often do you think you'll be traveling to other games in the future?
North Dakota, right on the Minnesota border. I travel to games fairly frequently, and usually attend a couple of event games a year. I think I attended 4 this year. Counting the upcoming Conclave, that is.
7: What is your stance on Clan Combo Disciplines learned by non-Clan Members?
I prefer that Clan combo disciplines remain in clan, though I also think that is a Chronicle issue.
8: Have you been a ST/CM or held an Org position before? (sub-coord counts)
ST & CM for Obsidian Towers (Twin Cities) in the past, ST currently for Within Shadow's Reach (Fargo). Sub-coord for Ravnos, Assamite, and Lasombra.
9: Do you feel that the "Council of Shame", being the bringing up of issues on the ST or Council list, is an acceptable means to discuss
problems, or ask for blunt and to the point responses to things?
I don't see it as a "Council of Shame" - but some things certainly need to get a blunt and to the point response. Tact is valuable, but some issues needed tobe dealt with directly.
10: Is it viable to work through PC's/NPC's in one chronicle to "get to" a PC/NPC in another chronicle?
NPCs? Not really. I would prefer to work withthe STs in the chronicle to come to some resolution. There is usually some middle ground that can be reached, or some solution. PCs, however, will do what they think is best, by their understanding of genre.
