This last weekend Miranda unexpectedly had Saturday off, so we decided to go out to see Resident Evil: Extinction - and honestly, I didn't think it was that bad. Negligible plot, but it was enjoyable entertainment for a short while. We went to dinner afterwards where they were showing the end of a college football game, and Miranda took over as coach for the teams... explaining to them what they should do. Her advice was surprisingly good - the winning team took her advice, the losing team waited too long to do the same. I am wondering if she would be willing to help the Vikings out... nah. Good evening made better by excellent company.
On Sunday, I ended up having lunch with Mark McKenna who was in town from Ohio and chatted with him for quite a bit. We went to the Davanni's near his hotel for lunch and finally ended up bringing toffee almond bars to the crew at Dress Barn in the Southtown area.
Today I finally have a minor end in sight at work. Our new phone system is scheduled to be installed on October 26th, and I will happy to have that finally done. I've only been working on it on and off for over 5 years now - and the company finally pulled the trigger. Yay for workable phones!
In slightly fictional news interesting only to the gamers on this list, my larp PC, Jordan Restax, once again took Praxis of the Twin Cities. We'll see how this round goes, but I see many signs for promise. Hopefully I am correct. In addition to this, I am also planning on running for the Lasombra Coord position in One World by Night. Finishing touches are being placed on my application, and it should be posted shortly. Anybody with any questions - well, you all probably know how to get in touch with me.
Hope you all are having a wonderful Monday!
