Type O Negative
So last night I got to go out and have do some actual relaxation type stuff. Miranda had the night off, and Type O Negative was playing at First Avenue. Oh, and she had a hot new goth outfit and wanted to go out. Kind of a spur of the moment thing - but that is sometimes a lot of fun.
So we went out, and the concert was pretty cool. I like the voice on the lead singer, and it is pretty trippy... especially hearing them do "Magical Mystery Tour" and "Hey Joe". They become very different, and not in a horrible way. I do, however, question the lighting decisions. How often do I need to actually have lights blazing directly in my eyes? After the concert I was both a little bit blind and a little bit deaf.
Following the concert was Hard Rock Cafe which was kind of disappointing, and a visit to Miranda's work so she could show off her new outfit. Pictures were taken and many well deserved compliments were given to her.
They asked me how I got invited along with her, but that is what happens when you head out with a beautiful woman. :)
