(no subject)
Ah man, I've felt so much happier since getting Sombi sorted out. Really was a huge relief. The parts should be arriving to my deputy soon (if they haven't already done so because sometimes she doesn't tell me for a few days.) And then EMS to me! Her new arms shouldn't be too far behind either. I've also gotten TWO payments from my anime cel buyer, so I'm in a good position again. :)
I keep finding rather nice bits and pieces for Sombi's wardrobe. I've never had a doll before who could really take advantage of some of the cuter finds out there. And finally I have an excuse to get a rose choker! I hope she turns out to be a very photogenic doll because I'll have all sorts of sweet things to dress her in. And Motoko isn't forgotten either, she still has a few bits on the way.
It's all lies of course. All this talk of cute outfits and new seperates. Apparently because a relatively high proportion of my pictures of my girls are nudes, a certain "friend" of mine is convinced that I am a cheapskate who can't look after my dolls properly because no doll would want to be photographed naked since that's slutty. No amount of reasoning or explanation will convince her otherwise and she's even slagged me off behind my back to my best friend. (Who then told me about it for the lols.) There's so much wrong and backwards with the way this girl thinks and behaves that it's quite impossible to know where to start in dissecting it.
In other news - I was always very keen on the idea of a werewolf BJD, but I have to say that the SOOM Chrom is kind of disappointing. No tail! No grey skin! I am both happy and sad at the same time.
Hopefully the next time I post, it will be with pictures of Sombi looking very cute in her nice outfits. :3
