No, I promise I'm still alive >.>; I really am... I just... don't remember to update this thing. Also there's normally nothing to talk about.
However - there have been a few new things in my life so I figured I would write them here and stuff.
Firstly:
New fandoms.
Yep - you guys saw this coming. I always post about my fandoms >.>;
That being said....
Kamen Rider OOO
Oh yes, my obsession with this fandom has spread~.
This Kamen Rider is based around the character Hino Eiji, a drifter by all rights who happens to find a core medal. Using these core medals with help from the GREEED (yep, that's what they're called) Ankh, Eiji is able to henshin into OOO and fight against the GREEED and their Yummies (no joke, that's what they're called).
As always, it has a good storyline and loveable characters. Also enough BL moments to keep yaoi fangirls happy (which seems to be a trend with Kamen Rider... o.O). In short - go out and watch it.
Kamen Rider Den-O
Why yes, it's another Kamen Rider. XD This one I was badgered into by my friend Kate (though I had planned on watching it... just... wasn't in the mood). Anyway... watched it... fell in love.
This story focuses around Nogami Ryoutarou - a person who Murphy's Law was written for. This kid has the worlds WORST luck ever. And in so I feel very akin to him -.-; Anyway, through a series of events Ryoutarou is introduced to an entire host of outrageous characters, including a band of monsters called 'Imagin' from the future. Five of which can possess his body at will and cause... a lot of problems but ultimately make the show funny as hell. Learning that he is a singularity point, Ryoutarou agrees to henshin into Kamen Rider Den-O to prevent the Imagins from changing the past to destroy the future. Ultimately a very cracktastic series and worth the watch. Not to mention if you guys liked Bloody Monday - Sato Takeru (who plays Kujou Otoya in BM) plays Ryoutarou. Get ready for a mind trip because seriously the character is a complete 180.
Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
*gasp* Not Kamen Rider! But it is a Sentai~. This is probably the closest to Power Rangers as I'll ever get. Still, the characters are adorkable so I can't hate it.
This show focuses around the Gokaigers - a band of space pirates searching for the greatest treasure in the universe (though getting severely sidetracked every step of the way). Using the Ranger Keys the Gokaigers are able to henshin into various Super Sentai teams for different situations. Very useful, if not a little confusing at times (like when they all switch to a certain color). The show is very much like Power Rangers, but it's really the characters that will keep you watching. I mean - Gokai Red is named 'Captain Marvelous'. I mean - COME ON.
Okay, moving on from that. In other news, I am now a staffer at a new up-and-coming fandub site. ^^ Our first dub project is going to be Macross ^^ Soooo, I'll keep you guys posted as to when we hold auditions (first round auditions are done for now - but soon we'll set up a casting audition for it. I'll keep you guys updated in case anyone wants to try out.)
Maa... I guess that's all? Other than that my life sucks as usual ^^; I miss spending time with my friends that are you know... not online. I've been spending too much time watching shows or playing MMORPGs (now have gotten into LotRO - awesome game, and free to play~). I've made quite a few friends from that and it's been... fun? But I still wish I could get out and do stuff. Maa~
Need to start working on cosplays again -.-; SMILE, Philip, Hino Eiji, and Nagomi Ryoutarou are allllll coming with me to my next con @.@.
Bai for now~
