Thank you for commenting! I have written some stories that are more specifically centered on Uryuu--but in this one he only makes a kind of cameo appearance as the blue-eyed little boy.
There might be a sequel...Isshin and Ryuuken in a dorm room together is just begging to be written, and Ryuuken still hasn't figured out that he's living with a retired Shinigami captain...
I love this. It grabbed me from the start, and wouldn't let me go. I love your Isshin and Kisuke, and I especially love Isshin's motives for becoming a doctor.
Isshin and Kisuke are so fascinating to write, because on the surface they're so ditzy --and that's not all just a front, it's also an important part of who they are-- but underneath there's a lot of intelligence, compassion...and mystery.
You have to think that spending centuries as a soldier just becomes...wearing...after awhile, and one develops a need to create, to heal, instead.
you're baaaaaack and you're heeeeere! I love your work. Thanks for this. Your Ryuuken speculations occupied me for a good while, and now I'm gonna have a little field day with this short fic! There's so much I like about your writing it's hard to pick one thing to mention, but this time I'll say that I dig the plausibility of it all fitting with Kubo's universe.
Yes, I aaaaaam! Didn't really even intend to write this fic, it just kind of poured out, and then kept building on itself....
Glad my speculations occupied you, and very glad that the plausibility is there, because one of the things I really strive for is to have my work fit in with canon!

If I wrote that fic, would you read it?
