Sub Rose - new Death Note doujin game.
Today, kaostic -san posted about an alternate universe Death Note doujin game set in what I believe is the old England. The name's Sub Rose, set to be released this summer, and even if it's completely an AU, I find it really fascinating (*____*)
The characters seem to have changed their names to new, wickedly cool ones more proper of such setting (I ship Ira x Acedia wwwwww). This bothered me a bit at first, but now I think it's very interesting. It's like seeing a complete and unexplored alternate version of the characters, with different lives and the same soul. Even Halle's there! (And she looks great~). My mind can't stop thinking about all the possibilities this setting offers; how cool would it be to RP the characters from this AU game? I just wish that I could understand all that difficult kanji and learn about the story in depth.
(EDIT: It seems that their names have been changed to the latin form of the seven deadly sins! Now it makes sense, and it's really, really cool!!!!) (EDIT2: And L's name seems to have been changed to the German form for gluttony www)
The downside is that strange mary sue who seems the main character (?). She looks like a weird female version of L *sweatdrops*. Who is that supposed to be? L crossdressing to fool everyone into thinking that he's a woman? Original character? If so, this is otome game then? I hope that's not the case, as I'm not fond of those (T_T)
Especially if the characters the mary sue can be paired with happen to be my beloved DN characters. Who wants to see that? ;;;
Anyway, I'll see if I can get a hold of the game when it's released, see how it goes, and finally solve the mystery of that unknown main character.

And speaking of RP, apps at Somarium will close soon, which means that all my hopes at getting any other canonmate are completely ruined. orz
I love it when people tell me that they want to RP, and then they leave me alone in a comm where I can't even play with other DN characters. OTL
